Global investment solutions provider, Russell Investments, has been selected by French pension plan, Fonds de réserve pour les retraites (FRR), as transition management partner.
FRR will utilise Russell Investments’ deep capital markets expertise and extensive trading capabilities to reduce exposure risk and execution costs when restructuring its mandates, including changes to managers, strategies, benchmarks and investment styles.

The UK Equity Trustees Fund Services Board has appointed Tim Callaghan as independent director.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in managing, marketing and oversight of investment strategies as an investment specialist. He was most recently the chief investment officer and lead manager of the Globersel Pactum Natural Resources Fund at Nextam Partners Ltd.
Callaghan is a Certified European Financial Analyst and holds a BSc (Hons) Chemistry with Management from King’s College London University.
Archangels, the angel investment syndicate, has appointed Ian Macleod as the new chair of its board.
The former investment analyst and fund manager takes over the role from Eric Young, who has held the position since 2014. Young will continue to sit on the Archangels board.
Previously, Macleod worked in London and Paris for many years as an analyst, specialising in the electronics and telecoms industries, initially with ANZ Capel Cure Myers and longer spells at both NatWest Markets and Jeffries.

IMB Partners, a middle market private equity firm specialising in utility and government agency services, has made a strategic investment in Carr & Duff, a southeastern Pennsylvania corporation that provides specialty electrical construction services to a range of mid-Atlantic customers.
