Oakley Capital invests in Spanish transport and logistics software business Alerce

Oakley Capital (Oakley), a pan-European, mid-market private equity investor, has acquired a majority stake in Alerce, a Spanish provider of transport and logistics software solutions. The firm’s founding family and CEO Pablo Pardo Garcia, will retain a significant stake in the business.

Alerce is a transport management software provider to Spanish courier, carrier and haulage businesses operating in the “less-than-truckload” market. It offers a product suite centred around its carrier TMS “Alertran”, with a modular portfolio of adjacent products such as “Senda”, a last mile delivery module. As well as Spain, Alerce serves clients in Latin America and France.

Financial details of the deal, which is subject to FDI approval, have not been disclosed.
