Buyout fund Oakley Capital V-B1 has received a commitment of up to $35 million from the Ohio State Teachers pension fund, according to a report by Pensions & Investments.
The report cites an email from the $91.6 billion pension fund’s spokesman Nick Treneff as the source of the info, with the allocation marking Ohio State Teachers’ first commitment to the European middle-market private equity manager, Treneff said.
Ohio State Teachers currently has a private equity allocation of 12.1% way in excess of its target allocation of 7%.
