An accomplished C-Suite executive with over 30 years of industry experience, Oken will work directly with MidOcean’s private equity investment team by adding valuable senior insights and oversight to the firm’s thematic investment approach.
Prior to joining MidOcean, Oken spent over 30 years at JP Morgan, where he played an integral role in the global success of its banking franchise.

Lovell Minnick Partners (LMP), a private equity firm focused on investments in financial services, financial technology and business services companies, thas appointed Scott Bagwell to the firm’s Advisory Council.
Bagwell will support LMP’s efforts in the healthcare finance sector, including identifying and evaluating new investments as well as supporting management teams to improve the companies’ sales strategies and create operational efficiencies.
Bagwell joins LMP following more than 30 years of experience within the healthcare finance and technology industry, spanning market segments including clinical, pharmacy, payments and revenue cycle management.
Bryan Garnier & Co, an independent investment bank for European healthcare and technology-related companies and their investors, has appointed John Klein head of equity research.
Klein is a seasoned financial markets expert with experience across investment banking, equity research, private equity and corporates. He joins from Zalando, where he was Senior Business Developer with responsibility for driving the company’s capital markets communication strategy.
Prior to this, Klien was responsible for capital raising at DTCP, a private and growth equity investment firm. He was previously a Director at Feros Advisers in London, a boutique capital markets advisory, and Head of Chemicals
Vasileios Antonopoulos has joined AssetMetrix as Deputy Head of Technology. He will be based in the firm’s office in Luxembourg.
As a member of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) as well as the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA), Antonopoulos will be actively contributing to further enhancing technology adoption within the private markets ecosystem in Luxembourg and beyond. AssetMetrix has deepened its commitment to Luxembourg, recently moving its datacenter infrastructure to Luxembourg after successfully establishing its local office earlier in 2021.

ICG, a global alternative asset manager, has appointed Bashak-Julianna Demir as its new global head of client relations, alongside two new Client Relations Managers, Raisah Yusuf and Rohit Kapoor.
Demir joins ICG with over 14 years of investment advisory experience, having most recently worked as a Managing Director at Campbell Lutyens, where she was a senior member of the Private Capital Advisory team. Prior to Campbell Lutyens, Bashak spent nine years at Credit Suisse, focusing on M&A and Equity Capital Markets.

Chiltern Capital, a lower mid-market buy and build specialist, has promoted three members of its investment team on the back of a strong year at the firm.
Joe Bennett has been promoted to Investment Director, and Laura Clayfield and Zerxis Billimoria have been promoted to Investment Manager.
Bennett has led several platform investments since joining Chiltern, most recently Surepharm and IDS during 2022. In addition, he has actively originated investment opportunities and worked closely with management teams to deliver real value creation.

Campbell Lutyens, a global private markets advisors, has expanded its GP capital advisory team, which offers specialist advice to general partners on key investment and strategic growth decisions regarding their management company and their GP financing options, including minority GP stakes.
The firm’s GP capital advisory practice has seen a high level of activity in the past year and is currently working on a number of mandates involving asset managers raising minority equity capital, with volumes expected to increase in 2022, across a range of private asset classes globally.

Weatherston, who is based out of Churchill’s New York City headquarters and reports directly to Christopher Cox, chief risk officer, will be responsible for providing strategic direction for ESG integration across Churchill’s Senior Lending, Junior Capital & Private Equity Solutions strategies, working closely with parent company Nuveen’s Responsible Investing Team to coordinate efforts across the broader organisation.
