Martin Rauchenwald, a Partner at Financial Services Capital (FSC), a private equity investor dedicated to the transformation of the European financial services sector, has been appointed to the Board of Barion, a Hungarian payment provider backed by FSC. Barion, in which FSC invested in 2020, is one of Hungary’s leading payment providers, having built a proprietary payment services platform that delivers actionable data intelligence. The company enables merchants to accept card payments online, and allows users to pay in over 11,000 online shops using their mobile app as a prepaid wallet and for wire transfers.

Z Capital Group (ZCG), a private markets asset manager, has appointed three directors to the Z Capital Credit Partners’ (ZCCP) Investment Teams. Jedidiah “Jeddy” Lee has extensive experience in leveraged credit markets, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, securitizations, and middle-market and direct lending. At ZCG, Lee is responsible for sourcing, research and analysis of existing and prospective performing, stressed and distressed investments, and middle-market loans.  Gregory Poos has extensive experience in leveraged credit markets, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, securitisations, and middle-market and direct lending. One Rock Capital Partners (One Rock), a value-oriented, operationally focused private equity firm, has added Tony Palmer to its team of Operating Partners. Harrison Street, an investment management firms exclusively focused on alternative real assets, has appointed Mina Kojuri has joined the firm as a director in the firm’s Investor Relations group. Kojuri is responsible for capital raising activities and promoting the firm’s global strategies to institutional investors predominantly located in Europe. Kojuri is based in the firm’s London office, and will report to Albert Yang, Managing Director at Harrison Street.
Stonepeak, an alternative investment firm specialising in infrastructure and real assets, has appointed Daniel Wong as a senior managing director, head of Europe. Based in the firm’s London office, Wong will oversee Stonepeak’s continued expansion into Europe and build on Stonepeak’s existing strengths in infrastructure, energy transition, and ESG. Daniel will also join the firm’s Executive Committee. Wong joins Stonepeak following more than 22 years at Macquarie where most recently he served as Global Co-Head of Macquarie Capital, including as Global Head of Infrastructure & Energy, as well as a member of the Executive Committee of Macquarie Group. 
Bite Investments, an international alternative investments and technology company, has made four significant hires. Bite’s mission is to utilise its technology platform to expand access to the alternative investment ecosystem.   Justin Mason will become the Global Head of Asset and Wealth Management Sales, effective 25 April. Mason joined Bite from Blackstone’s subsidiary, La Trobe Financial (recently sold to Brookfield Asset Management in March 2022), where he sat on top of client partnerships across the wealth management industry.  Bite has also named Matthew Purcell as Finance Director. Lead Capital Partners (LCP), a Nashville-based private equity firm focused on lower middle market buyouts of healthcare companies, has appointed Lamar Stanley as a director. Stanley will lead business development and deal origination.   Prior to joining LCP, Stanley was a Director at Gen Cap America, a lower middle market private equity firm based in Nashville. 
Kirchliche Zusatzversorgungskasse des Verbandes der Diözesen Deutschlands (KZVK), the occupation pension scheme provider for Catholic Church and charitable sector employees in Germany, is looking to appoint a portfolio manager to focus on alternative investments, according to a report by IPE. The new portfolio manager will have responsibility for investments in private equity, infrastructure equity and private debt, plus due diligence of new funds.
Capitolis, a technology company reimagining capital markets, has made a series if key strategic hires and notable promotions in its New York and Tel Aviv offices. Lindsey Baptiste has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.
