Ryan Hicke, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at SEI, is to become the company’s next chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors, effective 1 June, 2022. Hicke will succeed Founder Alfred P West, Jr, who is transitioning to the role of Executive Chairman after successfully leading and growing SEI for more than 50 years. Experienced growth investor Charlie Winward is the latest partner to join YFM Equity Partners (YFM), adding further portfolio support as the firm targets significant growth, with the number of portfolio businesses expected to grow by around 40 per cent over the next three years. POLARIS Investment Advisory AG (POLARIS) has added three investors as senior advisors to its advisory board – Dajana Brodmann, Marc Lau and Pablo López de Ayala. Lower-mid market private equity firm NorthEdge has made a series of promotions and a new appointment across its Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham offices, including the appointment of two new partners – Lucie Mills and Phil Frame.
