State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT) today announced it has appointed Jesse Cole as global head of its Private Markets segment. In this role, Cole will be responsible for defining and executing State Street’s global strategy for Private Markets and will work closely with his peers in global sales and the product organisation to manage and grow private markets business across all client segments.  Cole is based out of Chicago, IL and will report to Paul Fleming, global head of State Street’s Global Alternatives Segment.

Excellere Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm specialising in partnering with entrepreneurs and management teams through recapitalisations and management buyouts, has appointed Jacque Vedra as CFO and Tracie Kelly as Director of Marketing. In addition, Tyler Ashley has been promoted to Vice President. Vedra comes to Excellere from Ascentris, a real estate private equity firm, where she served as its Chief Financial Officer. Jacque is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant. Insurance Advisory Partners, a specialist insurance M&A, strategic and capital-raising advisory firm, has appointed Jonathan Hull as partner, effective 18 April following a period of gardening leave. Hull’s considerable insurance and insurtech experience will complement that of founders Tony Ursano and David Kimmel. Benedek joins CD&R after a 20-year career at General Electric, bringing deep expertise in establishing low cost suppliers in emerging regions, strategic negotiations, new product launches and supply chain operations. Willkie Farr & Gallagher (Willike) has appointed Patrick J Sandor as a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office, where he will be part of Willkie’s Private Equity Practice Group. Sandor was previously a partner at Wilson Sonsini. Fulton, who has worked for Riverside in the US and Australia, was previously a Principal at RCAF.
