Maitland has made four senior appointments within its Guernsey Fund Administration division, as it continues to service its growing Guernsey client base.  Harry Rouillard has been appointed Director, whilst Luke Smith, Aimée Gontier, and James Taylor have been appointed as Assistant Mangers.   Guernsey Managing Director, Wikus van Schalkwyk, says: “Now in our fifth year of operation, our Fund Administration business has gone from strength-to-strength via continued robust organic growth. Cultivating our own talent is integral to Maitland’s growth strategy, and we are delighted to have been able to promote staff internally into new roles created to support this.”  
Dr Louise Rix, a former VC at Forward Partners, is stepping into the start-up world and taking up a new role as Chief Medical Officer at femtech start-up Béa Fertility.  Co-founded by femtech expert Tess Cosad, embryologist David O’Rourke and product engineer George Thomas, Béa Fertility is developing clinical-grade, at-home fertility treatments for people who are struggling to conceive naturally. The startup raised USD1 million in pre-seed funding earlier this year to expand their team and bring their pioneering fertility solution to market. Kieron Launder, former Chief Investment Officer at Schroders & Co, the private banking arm of the global investment manager, has joined private equity firm Growthdeck, taking up a position on its advisory board.  Launder brings with him 25 years of investment industry experience, having worked across a number of leading financial institutions, including Lazard and 15 years at Citibank.
