BGF has announced the creation of a specialist advisory board to accelerate its investment activity in companies engaged in carbon reduction and the energy transition.
The advisory board will be chaired by Baroness Brown of Cambridge, one of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of climate change and carbon reduction.
BGF has already committed GBP225 million to cleantech and clean growth investments and has a team of 12 specialists across its regional network focused on the sector. PwC UK has made changes to its Deals leadership team and strengthened the practice with the promotion of 18 new equity partners, effective 1 July 2021.
Hein Marais takes on leadership of Transaction Services and Nicola Preedy will head up Regional Deals. They join the firm’s Deals leadership team reporting to Ken Walsh, UK Head of Deals.
There are promotions to partner across each of the four business units – Business Restructuring Services, Corporate Finance, Forensic Services and Transactions Services.

SS&C Technologies Holdings has appointed Suresh Krishnamurthy to lead client solutions for SS&C GlobeOp Private Markets, SS&C’s private equity and real assets fund administration business.
He will report to Bhagesh Malde, global head of SS&C GlobeOp Private Markets.

Bajela brings a wide range of expertise as an investment specialist, as well as being a strong and active advocate for promoting diversity and inclusion.
Bajela is an Investor at Impact X Capital, an early-stage investment firm. Impact X’s mandate is to invest in underrepresented entrepreneurs across Europe. Her expertise in diversity and inclusion will reinforce Innovate Finance’s mission of ensuring that access to financial services is fair and equitable for all.
