EY-Parthenon has added three new partners to its European Private Equity team – Georg Hochleitner, Simon Oertel, and Malvinder Singh – who in April and May 2021. Hochleitner and Oertel join from Alvarez & Marsal and Oliver Wyman, and will focus on the execution of Commercial and Operational Due Diligence projects as well as the implementation of post-acquisition Value Creation programs. Singh, who joins from Alvarez & Marsal, will bring his proven expertise in IT transformation. Growth Capital Partners (GCP), a leading partnership-focused investor, has appointed Emily Henderson as Investment Director. Henderson joins GCP from RJD Partners, a UK lower mid-market private equity fund. She has over 10 years of transactions experience, including five and a half years at RJD where she was an Investment Director responsible for origination, deal execution, portfolio management and exits, primarily as the first institutional investor. Prior to this, she worked across the Deal Advisory practice at KPMG gaining experience in restructuring, transaction services and infrastructure projects. Henderson has a first class honours degree in Geography from the University of Nottingham.
PineBridge Investments (PineBridge), a private, global asset manager focused on active, high-conviction investing, has appointed Kate Faraday as Global Head of Corporate Responsibility. In this newly created role, Faraday will report directly to PineBridge’s CEO, Greg Ehret. Her primary responsibilities will be to work closely with PineBridge’s Corporate Responsibility Steering Committee, which oversees the firm’s subcommittees. Those subcommittees are dedicated to ESG Investment, Diversity & Inclusion, Stewardship and Company Responsibility. JAB has promoted Joachim Creus and David Bell to the newly created position of Senior Partner, effective immediately. Both Bell and Creus will continue to report to Managing Partner and CEO Olivier Goudet, supporting both him and Managing Partner and Chairman Peter Harf. Manchester-based corporate advisory firm Rickitt Mitchell is investing in its team with the promotion of Charlotte Greenhalgh to Manager.  The news follows the recent promotion of Kaine Smith to the board, with further hires in the pipeline.   Greenhalgh started her career at PwC where she completed her ACA qualifications, before joining Rickitt Mitchell in 2019 as a Corporate Finance Executive.
