Pantheon has appointed Matt Cashion as an investment Partner in the firm’s global private equity co-investment Team. Cashion joined Pantheon’s New York office earlier this month providing additional senior-level presence on the east coast where Matt will lead the sourcing and execution of co-investment deals, contribute to fundraising and manage certain GP relationships.

Constitution Capital Partners (CCP), an alternative asset manager focused on the North American middle market, has appointed Michael Doppelt as Managing Director, Investor Relations. Based in New York, Doppelt will work with institutional investors, multi-family offices and private wealth clients.

Synamedia, an independent video software provider backed by the Permira funds and Sky, has appointed Paul Segre as CEO, with immediate effect. Previously CEO of Genesys, Segre succeeds the departing CEO Yves Padrines, who presided over Synamedia’s successful first two years as a customer-focused leader in the expansion of pay-TV with OTT distribution, and the development of innovative solutions to protect revenues from streaming piracy and develop new revenue streams from addressable advertising. Paul will be based in London.

BGF has further strengthened its investment team for Central Scotland and Northern Ireland after appointing a new investor to support with ongoing business growth in both regions.Fiona Dornan takes up the role with BGF, the UK and Ireland’s most active investor, which has been completing on average an investment per week in 2020.
A qualified chartered accountant, Dornan has extensive and diverse experience working for both a FTSE 50 company and within professional services across a variety of financial sector specialisms, including business development and mergers and acquisitions.

Sherpa Capital, an Iberian private equity fund manager specialising in medium-sized companies, has appointed Isaac Lahuerta as an Investment Director in the firm’s special situations team.Lahuerta joins Sherpa Capital after working for more than two-and-a-half years as a Principal at private equity firm BTC, where he made debt and equity investments in companies in special situations.
Before that, he served as an investment analyst in London for global investment firm Avenue Capital Group, which specialises in distressed investments.
