Palatine Private Equity has made six promotions across its UK business. The new Senior Investment Directors include James Gregson, Kieran Lawton and James Winterbottom. Gregson joined Palatine in 2017 to assist Partners Beth Houghton and Zoe Clements with the deployment of its GBP100 million Impact Fund, which invests in businesses with a positive social and/or environmental impact across the UK. Dow Schofield Watts is to launch a new debt advisory arm DSW Debt Advisory led by Phil Tarimo, which is aimed at medium-sized companies seeking debt funding of GBP20 million or above. Dunedin, a UK mid-market private equity house, has expanded its team by hiring Claire Blackhall and James Morrison into its dedicated Research and Direct Origination Team. This new team provides the wider investment team with pre-qualified target companies to approach, as well as the co-ordination of valuable sector and corporate knowledge.   Blackhall, who joined in September 2019 as Associate, was previously a Manager in the KPMG Private Equity Group in London, working on a variety of M&A transactions.
