Sovereign adds to investment team

Sovereign Capital Partners, a UK private equity Buy & Build specialist, has appointed Emma Flin to its investment team. Flin, an Investment Director, will primarily be focused on the Business and Technology & Information services sectors, further deepening Sovereign’s capabilities in these areas. The early part of Flin’s career in M&A was with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and then UK Landsbanki Securities, the investment banking arm of Landsbankinn. She then spent the following 10 years with Capita plc as Corporate Development Director leading the Group’s acquisition and disposal activity. There she led large volumes of transactions across a wide range of sectors. These included the GBP235 million disposal of ParkingEye and the acquisition of Knowledgepool in a GBP25 million deal.

Dominic Dalli, Partner, Sovereign Capital Partners, says: “We are delighted to welcome Emma to Sovereign as we continue to develop the team. Emma’s areas of sector expertise are highly complementary to our own and she has a breadth and depth of deal experience, driving all aspects of the transaction process, as well as supporting new investment opportunities. We have had a busy few months at Sovereign and look forward to working with Emma as we continue to partner successful businesses where we believe we can help deliver significant growth.”
