Gridiron Capital, an investment firm focused on partnering with founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams, has promoted Sean Kelley to Managing Director, Business Development and added and promoted Ty Black to Associate as part of the Business Development Team. Kelley will continue to focus on developing new business partnerships, marketing to and communicating with business owners, managing investment partnership sourcing, and exit planning. He will also increase his role in marketing and building the Gridiron brand. Ty Black will become a member of Gridiron’s Business Development Team and will report to Kelley and Gridiron’s two Managing Partners, Tom Burger and Kevin Jackson.
Global investor services group, IQ-EQ, has appointed Colin Targett as Managing Director of its Bermuda and Cayman Islands operations.  This strategic new hire follows other senior appointments announced in recent months evidencing the Group’s drive to build its Funds, Private Wealth and Corporate servicing operations in the region. Targett brings to IQ-EQ more than two decades of senior experience in the fund services space. Pantheon has appointed Rakesh (Rick) Jain as Partner and Global Head of Private Debt based in the firm’s New York office. Pantheon has been active in private debt investments since 1997, with approximately USD1.5 billion committed to investment opportunities across secondaries and primaries. The firm formed a dedicated practice last year to support its demand-led expansion across the private debt asset class. Pantheon plans to hire additional resources in both London and New York.
