Kaman Distribution Group (KDG), a leading value-added distributor of bearings and power transmission, automation, and fluid power products, has appointed Benjamin Mondics has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Littlejohn & Co acquired KDG earlier this year.  Mondics is a seasoned executive with a thirty-five-year track record of success in the industrial distribution industry. He most recently served as President & CEO of ERIKS North America, a global distributor of gasket, hose, sealing, flow control, power transmission, industrial plastics, and maintenance products. Prior to ERIKS, Mondics served as President of Kaydon Corporation, a subsidiary of SKF Group. Mondics also spent nearly twenty
Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has added to its portfolio team with the appointment of Simon Robb and Dean Gregory. The appointments will enable Maven to increase the level of support to its North West portfolio companies and to expand the level of business support to the firm’s growing portfolio. Business Coach and Corporate Communications Specialist, Robb joins as Portfolio Manager with over 20 years’ experience in Corporate and Investment Banking in the City and the North West. An Economics and Politics graduate, Robb trained with Barclays before working for various international banks headquartered in Japan, Norway, Australia and Ireland.  
FTI Consulting has appointed Tim Hames as a full-time Senior Adviser to its Strategic Communications segment in London. Hames will assume his new role on 2 December 2019. Hames will join FTI Consulting from the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), where he has served as Director General since 2013. Hames previously held a variety of other roles at the BVCA, including Head of Policy and Director of Public Affairs. He has also been a Special Adviser to the Speaker of the House of Commons, Assistant Editor and Leader Writer at The Times and a Lecturer in Politics
JTC, a provider of fund, corporate and private wealth services to institutional and private clients, has appointed Erika Schraner as an Independent Non-Executive Director.  Schraner brings to the Board a wealth of experience and expertise in professional services, with particular strength in the areas of commercial development, M&A and technology. Independent insurance broker Lockton has launched a Asia Pacific (APAC) Transactional Risks Division with two senior appointments – Will Seccombe as Business Leader based in Hong Kong, and Mindy Ng as Vice President based in Singapore. Seccombe and Ng both arrive to Lockton from Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT). Seccombe, a 30-year veteran in the insurance sector, was most recently Managing Director of JLT Mergers and Acquisitions Group in Asia. Overall, he has 10 years’ experience leading insurance teams in the APAC region, as well as managerial roles in Japan and South Korea.   Ng’s was most recently working with JLT
Vista Equity Partners has opened a new Vista Consulting Group (VCG) office in Singapore. VCG is the affiliated consulting arm of Vista, an investment firm focused on enterprise software, data, and technology-enabled businesses. The new office will serve as the Asia headquarters for VCG, expanding Vista’s presence and providing additional operational support for Vista companies in the region and their almost 14,000 employees. The Singapore office, located in the Centennial Tower, is indicative of the firm’s continued strong commitment to Asia. Currently, more than 20 Vista portfolio companies have offices in the region, with 13 in Singapore. As part of
IPSX Group (International Property Securities Exchange), which operates a regulated securities exchange dedicated to commercial property, has appointed Peter Wyllie to the role of Director, Capital Markets, reporting into Roger Clarke, Head of Capital Markets.  The IPSX team now comprises 17, following a number of hires over recent months as the management prepares for the next stages of the business’s development and works towards its first IPOs in the first half of next year.   Most recently a partner at the international hedge fund advisory firm, Sussex Partners, Wyllie brings around 35 years of capital markets experience to IPSX.  
Lazard UK Investment Banking (Lazard) has launched a new team, Lazard Venture and Growth Banking, and appointed Garri Jones and Nick James as Managing Directors in the company’s UK investment banking business. Jones and James will formally start their new roles in January from Numis, where they ran a ventures practice together.   The Lazard Ventures and Growth Banking team will focus on the private growth equity and venture capital markets, connecting growth businesses with its large global investor base. The team will work with Lazard’s Capital Markets and sector M&A teams as part of an integrated Investment Banking Advisory
Schmitt focuses on the commercial tire market, light manufacturing, and other middle market industrial businesses, assisting companies with M&A activities, financing growth, and market consolidation on the buy or the sell side. Prior to joining Skyway Capital Markets, Schmitt served in various senior management and executive positions with Michelin North America. With a career spanning 33 years at Michelin, his most recent roles were President of Michelin Retread Technologies, Inc. (MRTI), and Technical and Manufacturing director for Michelin Tweel Technologies. Michelin Tweel technologies is a new venture within Michelin to develop, manufacture and sell airless radial tires for commercial applications.
