SK Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on the specialty materials, chemicals and pharmaceuticals sectors, has promoted Stephen d’Incelli to Managing Director and appointed Lee Karras as a Director. Previously a Principal at SK Capital, d’Incelli has played a significant role in sourcing and executing acquisitions as well as guiding portfolio companies where he serves as a member of numerous Boards of Directors. Prior to joining SK Capital in 2015, d’Incelli was a Vice President at Sun Capital Partners where he was involved in a variety of acquisitions including corporate carve-outs, entrepreneurial transitions and add-on acquisitions. BGF, the UK and Ireland’s most active investor in growing companies, has appointed Spencer Woods as an Investor in its Manchester office. Spencer joins most recently from Wheatsheaf Group – part of the Grosvenor Estate – where he held the role of Senior Investment and Portfolio Manager, taking a lead on M&A activity, guiding strategy and monitoring the performance of the portfolio. PEF Services, a fund administrator for alternative investment managers, has promoted Emily Chen and Delphine Jones, CPA to Managing Directors within the firm’s Client Services group, reporting to PEF Chief Operating Officer Beth Manzi. Chen and Jones each lead PEF Client Services teams responsible for the relationships and services provided to PEF clients including fund accounting, financial reporting and SBIC compliance, and investor services for PEF’s clients and their investors.

Bennett joins GCP from KPMG, where he spent several years based in both their UK and Australian offices. Global law firm Goodwin is to open a new office in Santa Monica, California, which will focus on the technology and private equity industry verticals. It will be the firm’s second in Southern California, the fourth in the state, and the eleventh globally. The new office will be located in a modern, state-of-the-art space at 520 Broadway in Santa Monica. It will initially take up more than 20,000 square feet over the building’s entire fifth floor. Connection Capital, a specialist private client investment business, has appointed a new Head of Funds, Lorna Robertson. Lorna Robertson (pictured), joins from Invesco where she was responsible for managing relationships with investment and private banks and developing strategic partnerships. Investment bank GCA Altium has expanded its senior deal team in Frankfurt with Raiko Stelten and Thorsten Weber, employees of the bank for many years, promoted to Managing Directors as of 1 March 2019. Growth equity firm General Atlantic has appointed Loek van den Boog, former Chairman of Mendix and Myriad, as a Special Advisor and Chairman of General Atlantic Netherlands. Van den Boog returns to the firm having previously supported the firm as Special Advisor between 1996 and 2004. During his prior tenure at General Atlantic, he served on a number of portfolio company boards, including Global Collect and Patni Computer Systems.
