Idinvest Partners, a leading investor in SMEs across Europe, has appointed Bao Dinh as Investment Director in the firm’s Venture Capital team.
In this position, Dinh will be involved in sourcing, analysing and executing investments for the Venture Capital team, both in France and in Europe.
Prior to joining Idinvest Partners, Dinh spent four years as Director EMEA at HotelTonight, a leading mobile app for last minute hotel bookings. In this role, Dinh headed up operations in EMEA and managed a multi-national team located in Paris, London and Berlin covering 15+ countries.

Jersey Finance has appointed experienced financial services professional Joe Moynihan as its new CEO.
Moynihan (pictured), starts in his new position on 18 February and is taking over the reins from Geoff Cook, who is leaving after twelve years in the role.
An experienced financial services professional with a longstanding career in Jersey in both the private and public sector, Moynihan spent the majority of his executive career with AIB, latterly as the Chief Executive Officer of the Jersey and Isle of Man offices.
He then spent just under four years with the Government of Jersey as Director
International law firm CMS has appointed Ed Kingsbury as a partner in the firm’s funds practice in London.
Kingsbury, who joins from Dechert, has significant experience advising a range of clients on investment funds and investment management arrangements.
Kingsbury has a particular interest in private equity, venture capital and credit funds, and acts for a range of investment firms and investors. His experience includes advising on investment funds through their life cycle, carried interest arrangements, ongoing house and regulatory issues, cornerstone investments into funds, complex secondaries, investment manager-related mergers and acquisitions and merging and de-merging asset managers.

Silverfleet Capital, a pan-European private equity firm, has strengthened its dedicated lower mid-market investment team with the appointment of Ricardo Sommer.
Sommer joins Silverfleet as a Principal and will be responsible for Silverfleet’s lower mid-market activities in the DACH region, targeting businesses with enterprise values between EUR25 million and EUR75 million. In addition he will support Silverfleet’s lower mid-market activities in other regions. Ricardo will be based in the firm’s Munich office and report to lower mid-market team co-heads Alex Brebbia and David MacKenzie.

Adams Street Partners, a private markets investment management firm with USD35 billion of assets under management, has appointed Mattias de Beau as a Partner in the firm’s Primary Investments Team.

Private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners has appointed Ennio Montinaro as Chief Administrative Officer, and Todd Cullen as a Senior Advisor and Operating Consultant.

Leisure specialist Ian Edward has been appointed as a Senior Adviser at corporate finance firm Clearwater International.
Edward brings over 30 years’ experience in the leisure industry, as M&A adviser, Non-Executive Board Director and investor. His previous transactions include the sale of New World Trading Company to Graphite Capital, the sale of Geronimo Inns to Young’s, and the sale of a stake in Pho to Livingbridge. He is a co-founder of Hippo Inns and a Non-Executive Director of Pizza Pilgrims, Seafood Pub Company and Thunderbird Fried Chicken.

Dinosaur Merchant Bank (DMBL) has appointed Andrew Truman-Williams as the bank’s new Head of European Portfolio and Securities Finance businesses.
This is a new role for the growing challenger bank, which is a subsidiary of Dinosaur Group Holdings LLC. Truman-Williams will be based at the bank’s London headquarters.

Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank, has announced that Petr Molchanov is rejoining the bank from Magnit, as Head of Investment Banking, Russia & CIS.
