Ancala Midstream Acquisitions Limited (Ancala Midstream) has appointed Paul Mitchell as its Chief Financial Officer.
Mitchell joins the senior executive team as Ancala Midstream, which owns interests in and operates the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation pipeline and terminal (SAGE System) and the Beryl pipeline, seeks to expand its activities in the midstream sector across the North Sea. He will play a key role in the further development and implementation of Ancala Midstream’s strategic plans.
The SAGE System comprises a 323-kilometre, 30-inch pipeline and a gas processing terminal located at St Fergus, 65 kilometres north of Aberdeen. The 30-inch Beryl
Independent venture capital firm Truffle Capital has appointed former VEXIM CEO Vincent Gardès as a senior partner in the firm’s BioMedTech team.
Under the leadership of Philippe Pouletty, MD, the team also includes Alain Chevallier and Antoine Pau.
Gardès will have responsibility for generating new investments in the field of medical devices for Truffle Capital’s new BioMedTech fund and will actively support Truffle portfolio companies.

Chicago-based RedRidge Diligence Services – a provider of due diligence services to investors and lenders – is opening its first international office in London.
Matthew Reid, Associate Director, has relocated from the US in order to lead the London operation.

Chambers brings a wealth of experience from HSBC Leveraged Finance and Royal Bank of Scotland Corporate Transactions, and over 14 years has secured over GBP500 million in bank funding for private equity-backed small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Mid-market private equity investor LDC has bolstered its senior team with the appointment of portfolio director Martyn Vitty.
With more than 12 years’ experience in senior leadership roles, Vitty joins LDC from high-growth manufacturer ELEY Group, where he held the positions of interim CEO and finance director.
Vitty joined LDC-backed ELEY Group in 2015 and played a key role in securing new contracts and establishing ELEY Americas in the USA. He also helped to implement the firm’s buy-and-build strategy overseas, which included the acquisition of Texas-based company KSS and the sale of Accles & Shelvoke to Frontmatec in Denmark.
HarbourVest Partners has appointed Karen Simeone as a Managing Director in the firm’s private credit business based in Boston.
Simeone joins Managing Directors Jamie Athanasoulas and Peter Lipson and will specifically expand HarbourVest’s senior credit investing capabilities.

Joseph N Sacca, a long-time commercial and securities litigator with a top tier roster of clients and trial experience, has joined BakerHostetler’s Litigation Group as a partner in the firm’s New York office.
Sacca comes to BakerHostetler from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Khan will be responsible for the growth and development of the bank’s infrastructure sector for the region and as the company advances its sectorial based approach to best serve its clients, he will assume responsibility for Infrastructure Finance as well as Infrastructure related industry groups including Power and Renewables, Transportation and Social Infrastructure, and Telecommunications.
