Crayhill Capital Management LP, an alternative asset management firm that specialises in private credit investments, has appointed Stefan Hoefer as Managing Director.
Hoefer will be a senior member of Crayhill’s investment team. His responsibilities will include helping to source, underwrite, structure, execute and manage private credit investments.

Activa Capital has appointed Charles de Lauriston as ESG and Digital Transformation Associate.
The arrival of Charles de Lauriston demonstrates Activa Capital’s ambitions to deepen the ESG approach within the management company and all of its portfolio companies.
De Lauriston will manage the transversal integration of the ESG criteria in the portfolio of Activa Capital as well as in the investment cycle, under the responsibility of Christophe Parier, Partner.

Maples and Calder has opened a new office in Jersey, providing legal services in the corporate, finance and investment funds areas as well as listing agent services for the listing of securities on The International Stock Exchange (TISE) in the Channel Islands.
The new offering is a natural evolution for the international firm, and will complement its existing British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Irish legal services.

The business now employs 30 staff across three offices in London, County Wexford in Ireland, and Fareham.

Rebecca (Becky) Wood has rejoined Sidley Austin as a partner. Wood will co-lead both the firm’s Food, Drug, and Medical Device Regulatory practice and its FDA group in Washington with partner Coleen Klasmeier.
Wood previously served as Chief Counsel to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Associate General Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel, Department of Health & Human Services. She will focus her practice on providing counsel on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious FDA regulatory and litigation issues to clients in the life sciences industry and private equity firms investing in the area.
