Twin Brook Capital Partners (Twin Brook), the middle-market direct lending subsidiary of Angelo, Gordon & Co, has appointed Timothy Schifer, former Director of Portfolio Management at Madison Capital Funding, as a Managing Director focused on underwriting and portfolio management.
Twin Brook also announced that Vishal Sheth, former Director on Angelo, Gordon’s finance and accounting team, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Messrs. Schifer and Sheth are based in Chicago.

Otterbourg PC has appointed Jason I Miller (pictured), as a member in the firm’s specialty finance group. His practice focuses on commercial finance matters such as asset based lending, cash flow lending, middle market, factoring, leveraged finance, first and second lien loans and term loans. He joins Otterbourg from Blank Rome LLP.

CIFC, a private debt manager specialising in US corporate and structured credit strategies, has appointed John DiRocco as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
DiRocco will oversee non-investment functions as well as the expansion of the firm’s investment product offerings in the United States and internationally. he served as Chief Operating Officer and a founding member of credit investment firm Reef Road Capital LLC. DiRocco will be based in New York and report to CIFC’s Co-CEOs Oliver Wriedt and Steve Vaccaro.

Macquarie Capital, the corporate advisory, capital markets and principal investing arm of Macquarie Group (Macquarie) has appointed Anand Subramanian as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Private Capital Markets in its San Francisco office.
Subramanian has more than two decades of industry experience, having spent the majority of his career raising private capital for growing companies, and has a track record for launching new successful business lines. He joins from Qatalyst Partners, where he executed on a number of significant transactions after establishing its private capital business. Armstrong-Cerfontaine focuses on fund formation and transactions, advising private equity sponsors on their investments and corporate finance, drawing on her experience on business management, corporate finance, restructuring, compensation, retirement plans and advising financial sponsors and management in setting-up complex compensation schemes as part of leverage buyout transactions. YFM Equity Partners’ (YFM) British Smaller Companies VCT (BSC) has appointed Rupert Cook as an independent non-executive director.
Cook specialises in corporate and business development, with twenty five years’ experience of technology, sales, marketing and general management, including fifteen years in corporate finance and investment. Earlier in his career, he was a senior manager at Cap Gemini plc and then Director of Advisory Services at Interregnum plc.

Steadfast Alcentra Global Credit Fund, an unlisted closed-end fund advised by Steadfast Investment Adviser, an affiliate of Steadfast Companies, and sub-advised by Alcentra NY, a BNY Mellon investment boutique, has appointed Michael A Tamasco, CFA, as president.
Tamasco, who will also serve as president of Steadfast Investment Adviser, previously served as managing director of Optima Fund Management, one of the oldest hedge fund and multi-product alternative investment firms in the industry. The addition of Teza, who has nearly two decades of experience leading and working with franchised and multi-unit restaurant brands, is part of NRD’s growth strategy coming out of their recently closed second fund, NRD Partners II. The second fund, which closed on July 11th, had total investor limited partner commitments of USD104 million, exceeding the fund’s target of USD100 million.
