Livingstone has added Krishan Raval, Joe Austin and Dustin Stevens, to the team in its London office. Raval joins Livingstone’s Debt Advisory team. Raval trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with EY working in the Capital & Debt Advisory team for almost three years. While there he gained experience with a number of high profile clients raising finance through a variety of debt market instruments.   Stevens qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte working in South Africa and Chicago where he gained experience with clients across a variety of sectors. Audax Private Equity has partnered with management to acquire Altasciences Company, an early phase contract research organisation (CRO) in North America. Audax acquired Altasciences from Kilmer Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in Toronto, Canada. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.   Altasciences, headquartered in Laval, Quebec, encompasses Algorithme Pharma, Vince & Associates Clinical Research, and Algorithme Pharma USA. Offshore law firm, Mourant Ozannes, has promoted 12 lawyers to the role of Counsel across its global network of offices, bringing the total number of Counsel across the firm to 31.  Six have been promoted in the firm’s Guernsey office, four in Jersey, one in the Cayman Islands and one in Hong Kong. Campbell Lutyens, a global alternative asset advisory firms focused on fund placement and secondary transactions, has appointed Dr Teh Kok Peng to its Advisory Board.  Peng, was President of GIC Special Investments from April 1999 to June 2011, and remained an Adviser to GIC’s Group Executive Committee for two years after that. Prior to that, he was concurrently a deputy managing director of GIC and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Peng obtained a first class honours economics degree at La Trobe University in Australia, a PhD at Nuffield College, Oxford University and attended the AMP course at Harvard Business School

JP Morgan Asset Management has hired two seasoned private credit investors, Brad Demong and Leander Christofides, to join its Alternatives business as co-CIOs of a new Global Special Situations group.  Demong and Christofides previously held senior roles in JP Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank, most recently managing Leverage & Distressed Private Side Research and Trading for the EMEA region.  They left the firm in 2016, and will now re-join effective today. Demong and Christofides will be based in New York and London, respectively. The Chicago office of global law firm K&L Gates has added David D Dueno as a partner in the private equity practice. FundRock Management Company has appointed Enda Fahy (pictured), to head up the Illiquid Alternatives function at its Luxembourg Headquarters.  FundRock, one of the largest independent UCITS and AIFM investment management companies in Europe, has recently opened its Irish branch and has announced its intention to acquire a UK-based ACD.
