Kempen Capital Management (Kempen) has appointed Michel Iglesias del Sol (pictured), as Head of Investment Strategy, and a member of the management team, for the firm’s Client Solutions’ team.
In his new position, Iglesias del Sol will be responsible for defining strategic and dynamic asset allocation advice, while also being involved in research of innovative investment topics.
Iglesias del Sol’s previous roles includes Head of Investments and a member of the board at Willis Towers Watson Netherlands – and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of the pensions industry as well as in asset liability management,
Addleshaw Goddard’s Corporate team has been strengthened with the arrival at the firm of experienced dealmaker Pete Wood from Pinsent Masons.

Michael Hardy has joined Duane Morris as a partner in the firm’s Baltimore office. The firm says Hardy’s appointment will enhance the firm’s corporate and securities law capabilities in Baltimore and throughout the US, He joins Duane Morris from Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP.

Investment manager James Excell, who joined the London team at private equity house Key Capital Partners (KCP) in April 2016, has been promoted to investment director.

Global investment firm KKR has appointed Go Yamashita as Head of KKR Capital Markets (KCM) Japan.
In his role, Yamashita oversees a team of professionals who support KKR, the Firm’s portfolio companies and other clients by providing tailored capital markets advice and manage relationships and business development with institutional investors in Japan.
Worldwide, the KCM team develops and implements traditional and nontraditional capital solutions for investments and companies seeking financing. In Japan, KCM arranged financing for key transactions including KKR’s acquisitions of Panasonic Healthcare, Pioneer DJ, Calsonic Kansei and Hitachi Koki, as well as Panasonic Healthcare’s acquisition of Ascensia
Greg Lawton has joined Antares Capital’s asset management team as managing director, raising capital from institutional investors for the firm’s asset management group.
In this newly formed role, Lawton will report to Timothy Lyne, senior managing director and asset management leader.

Sanne has made a senior appointment in its New York office, with Fred Steinberg (pictured), joining the firm as Managing Director – New York.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Fred will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Sanne’s New York and Belgrade offices. He joins Sanne from Morgan Stanley, New York, where he held the position of executive director in finance overseeing its closed ended alternative asset funds.
