Middle market private equity firm Calera Capital has appointed Paul F Walsh (pictured) has joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director.
For the past seven years, Walsh has acted as an Operating Partner for Calera Capital, serving in various operating and managerial roles for the firm’s portfolio companies.

Ogier has appointed Bryon Rees as a partner in its unds and corporate practice in Guernsey.
Rees joined Ogier in 2005 and has a broad practice, although with a focus on investment fund, corporate, regulatory and finance related work.

Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has joined Lazard as a Senior Advisor, with a focus on sovereign advisory.
Okonjo-Iweala, a specialist in economic development and international finance, was until May 2015 the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Honourable Minister of Finance of Nigeria.

Hercules Technology Growth Capital, a specialty finance company for innovative, high-growth venture capital-backed companies, has appointed Melanie Grace as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.
Grace will oversee Hercules’ legal and compliance functions and serve as corporate secretary. She will report directly to Mark R Harris, Chief Financial Officer of Hercules.

Independent fund and corporate services provider Crestbridge is to expand into the Cayman Islands in response to continued growth and client demand.
Subject to regulatory approvals from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, Crestbridge plans to offer a range of governance services to the international funds community with the office, scheduled to open before the year’s end.
