Manulife Asset Management Private Markets, the private asset management arm of Manulife, has made three senior appointments.
Jenn Lundmark was named Head of Real Estate Fundraising, effective 8 June, Ken Pogrin was named Global Head of Business Development and Chief Operating Officer, effective 15 June, and Sahezad Pardhan, also a Senior Managing Director, was named Global Chief Financial Officer, effective 20 April.
All three positions are newly created roles for the organisation.

Private equity firm Calculus Capital, a specialist in Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) funds, has appointed Alexander Crawford as Investment Director.
Alexander has over 20 years' corporate finance experience, including ten years with Robert Fleming & Co, Evercore Partners and JP Morgan in London, New York and Johannesburg. He was previously a Managing Director at Pall Mall Capital. He has an MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG.

In this role, Kristina will continue to work closely with BVP's investing partners to identify entrepreneurial opportunities in startups aligned with cloud computing, mobile and Internet sectors.
Based in San Francisco, Kristina joined the firm in 2013 with a focus on the cloud-computing and internet sectors. Emerging-market investment firm Actis has elected Torbjorn Caesar as the Firm’s new Senior Partner.
Caesar has assumed his new role with immediate effect, succeeding Paul Fletcher, who becomes Non-Executive Chairman of the Firm.
Fletcher says: “I am delighted that Torbjorn will take over as the Senior Partner of Actis. Padraig Hoare (pictured) has joined Elian Fund Services as an associate director.
Hoare, 47, has more than 25 years’ industry experience, including 20 years in management positions in the financial services industry in Cayman. His focus at Elian will be on providing governance and oversight services to alternative investment funds.
‘I am looking forward to using my knowledge and experience to provide sound and personalised corporate governance services to clients, leveraging off the extensive knowledge and skills of those in the fiduciary services team and adding value wherever possible,’ he says.

Seyfarth Shaw has appointed Howard H Jiang as a partner in the firm’s Corporate department in New York. Jiang joins Seyfarth from Locke Lord where he was a partner in the corporate and transactional department and spearheaded the firm’s China practice.
Jiang’s practice is focused on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and project finance matters.
