Craig A Steger (pictured) has joined Outcome Capital as a Senior Advisor in the firm’s Boston area-based life sciences practice, bolstering the firm’s expertise in the molecular diagnostics and biotechnology sectors.
A business leader with extensive global experience, Steger has been part of several successful molecular diagnostic start-ups through their eventual acquisitions. Steger joins Outcome from Forge 4ward, a life science and diagnostic consulting firm, where he has been working with clients to develop their commercial strategy and build value both in the US and globally. He has held various executive positions from start-up companies through large, well-established international corporations.
Preqin has appointed Edmond Ho as Chief Revenue Officer. Ho also joins Preqin's Management Team and will commence his role on 27 July 2015.
Ho brings with him a wealth of experience in information, data and analytics sales across EMEA, Asia and the Americas.
Since 2006, he has worked for Platts, a leading provider of energy, petrochemicals, metals and agricultural information, price assessments and data. Platts is part of McGraw Hill Financial.

Perella Weinberg Partners has appointed Brian Stengel as a Partner in the firm’s Advisory business.
Stengel will focus on providing strategic and financial advice to technology, media and telecommunications clients, with a particular focus on internet and digital media, and will be based in the Firm’s New York office.
Stengel has 20 years of investment banking experience. He comes to Perella Weinberg Partners from Waller Capital Partners, where he was a Managing Director and Group Head of the Digital Media Group. The addition of Valérie Ducourty (pictured) and Sorian Abouz means the team now comprises 11 professionals.

Investec Specialist Bank (Investec) has appointed Mark Buttler (pictured) to lead its Growth & Acquisition Finance (GAF) team in the north of England.
Buttler joins Investec after eight years with private equity firm Key Capital Partners (KCP), where he held the position of director. During his time at KCP, Buttler led and co-led a number of buy-outs and growth capital transactions involving companies in the north of England, and was also responsible for helping to launch and develop the firm’s presence in the region. BNY Mellon has appointed Ned Siegel as Senior Sales Executive for its Private Equity and Real Estate (PE&RE) Fund Services unit.
He will cover the Americas and reports to Marina Lewin (pictured), global head of new business development, BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, and segment head, Alternative Asset Managers.
Ned joins from State Street, where he worked for 22 years in senior business development and relationship management roles in areas including private equity and real estate administration.
