Civitas Capital Group has appointed David Perel to the newly created position of President and Chief Investment Officer (CIO).  Perel, who was previously a Managing Director of Civitas Alternative Investments and President of Juno Development (both Civitas affiliates), will oversee the general management of the firm and its operating divisions. Perel will continue to serve on Civitas' executive and investment committees, and will report to Daniel J Healy, Chief Executive Officer. Private equity firm NorthEdge Capital has strengthened its team with the appointment of James Marshall as Investment Executive. NorthEdge, which focuses on investing in businesses based in the North of England, has seen a very active year and has now made 10 investments from its maiden fund, representing over GB{100m of investment into the Northern business community during the last 18 months.   Marshall will be based in the firm’s Leeds office.
