Sarah McFadden Sandström joins Atlantic-Pacific private funds business

Atlantic-Pacific Capital, a placement agent and advisory firm, has appointed Sarah McFadden Sandström as a partner in its private funds business.

As part of the project management and advisory team, Sandström will work closely with general partner clients on positioning and executing institutional capital raises for funds based in Europe.

"Atlantic-Pacific immediately impressed me as being the most highly motivated team in the industry. The firm’s successes over the last two years in a difficult fundraising environment are a testament to teamwork, determination and a focused approach," says Sandström.

“Sarah’s global expertise is the perfect addition to our established European team,” adds Jennifer Tedesko, an Atlantic-Pacific Capital partner in San Francisco. “Her energy and market outlook also make for a great cultural fit, and we couldn’t be more pleased to welcome her as our partner.”

Previously, Sandström spent over 13 years in Credit Suisse’s Private Fund Group/DLJ, where she was a director playing a leading role as a senior project manager. She was actively involved in performing due diligence on potential mandates and was a member of the Private Fund Group’s screening committee and pricing committee.

Sandström has transaction experience in Europe, North America, South America and Africa. During her tenure at Credit Suisse, she led 15 fundraisings and played a key role in an additional nine transactions, aggregating to over USD29bn of fund commitments.
