Shamrock Capital, a Los Angeles-based investment firm, has appointed Michael Wilkins as a Partner.“We are very excited to have Mike join the partnership. Wilkins joins Shamrock from Harris Williams where he served as Managing Director and Global Co-Head of their Technology, Media & Telecom group. He has over 20 years of investment banking experience serving leading software, internet, data/analytics and education technology companies. His extensive global experience includes sell-side and buy-side M&A, recapitalisations, divestitures, public and private equity, and fixed income securities deals.
Wilkins’ experience prior to joining Harris Williams includes: co-founding the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) group and serving as the Head of Internet & Digital Media at Sagent Advisors; leading the Internet & Digital Media practice at Wachovia Securities; and the Communications, Technologies and Multimedia practice at Wasserstein Perella. Earlier in his career, Wilkins worked in investment banking at JP Morgan and started his career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs.
