Sherpa Capital names new partner

Jorge Fernández Miret has been promoted to partner of Sherpa Capital, a Spanish private equity firm focused on investments in medium-sized companies that face new strategic challenges.  

Fernández Miret joined Sherpa Capital in 2012 as an investment director, a role in which he led a large number of investments and divestments. He is a board member in several portfolio companies of Sherpa Capital, such as Dogi International Fabrics, Hedonai and Macrolibros.
 
Furthermore, he is a lecturer at the Institute of Stock Exchange Studies (IEB), where he teaches the M&A and Private Equity Programme. Before joining Sherpa Capital, Fernández Miret was a consultant at CB Richard Ellis and Improven Consulting.
 
Fernández Miret holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Navarra.
