X-Margin, a specialist in applying privacy-preserving technology to credit and financial market risk, has raised USD8 million in a Series A funding round where Coinbase Ventures, HashKey Capital and Spartan Group were major investors.  Bixin Ventures, Miranda Ventures (Bybit), Gemini, Primitive Ventures and Kenetic Capital also participated in the funding round. Existing investors that followed-on include Alameda Research Ventures, CMT Digital, CoinShares, DCG, GSR, and Polychain.  Additionally, X-Margin received backing by some of the most active trading institutions and users of X-Margin Credit. Sprinque, an Amsterdam-based checkout platform for B2B merchants and marketplaces offering a SaaS payment solution tailored to businesses’ needs, has raised EUR1.7 million in funding from Volta Ventures, Force Over Mass and a renowned group of angel investors and payments industry executives. Sprinque built a digital checkout infrastructure to make business transactions as frictionless as ordering something from a consumer webshop. Their SaaS solution only needs one single integration and offers a multitude of business-specific options. Brevan Howard Asset Management LLP, a global alternative investment management platform, has appointed Colleen Sullivan, CEO and co-founder of CMT Digital, to lead the firm’s private and venture investment activities in crypto. Independent Iberian alternative assets manager GED Capital has added three new technology startups to the portfolio of its Conexo Ventures fund – Vonzu, Pridactect and Feedzai.  Conexo Ventures has injected EUR1.5 million into Vonzu, a software company for logistics and delivery.  Pridatect, meanwhile is a company in the Legal-Tech sector founded in 2017 that offers complete solutions for generating and maintaining all documentation and procedures relating to compliance with the new GDPR legal framework for agencies, consultancies, lawyers and data protection experts.   Feedzai, which a few months ago became the fourth Portuguese unicorn, after raising a funding round of
ARQIS has advised robotics company Agile Robots on its series C financing round which raised a total investment of EUD220 million.  The proceedings from this financing exercise will be mainly used for the company’s product development, series production, and global sales expansion. Agile Robots is now the first German unicorn in the robotics industry and has a valuation exceeding USD1 billion dollars globally.   The financing round is led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, followed by financial investors including but not limited to Chimera Investments under Abu Dhabi Royal Group, Hillhouse Group, Sequoia China and Linear Capital, and strategic investors

Visma, a provider of business-critical software to private and public companies in Europe, today announces that it has expanded its shareholder base through a secondary sale to leading institutional investors – Aeternum Capital, Government Pension Fund Norway (Folketrygdfondet), Vind, and GIC – valuing Visma at EUR16 billion (~NOK165 billion). 
NMI, a global full commerce enablement technology company, has secured a significant new equity investment from New York-based global private equity and venture capital firm Insight Partners. Insight Partners joins existing investors Francisco Partners and Great Hill Partners. The company will continue to be led by Chief Executive Officer, Vijay Sondhi, and the current management team, who invested alongside Insight Partners, Francisco Partners, and Great Hill Partners. NMI, which was acquired by Francisco Partners in 2017, processes more than USD150 billion in payments annually and enables critical payment functionality for over 2,800 partners and over 250,000 merchants globally. KKR has appointed Kerryann Benjamin as Chief Diversity Officer and Head of Talent Management, effective immediately. In this role, Benjamin will be based in New York and will drive KKR’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy, a strategic priority for the firm, as well as KKR’s global talent development strategy.
