Following the acquisition in August of Reference Financial Services SA (Luxembourg), Suntera Global has now signed an agreement to acquire fund and corporate services firm NeoTrust Fiduciary Luxembourg SARL (NeoTrust). Headquartered in Luxembourg, and founded in 2017 by Martin Hubert and Julien Guillaume, NeoTrust is a highly experienced provider of bespoke fund and corporate services to private equity and real estate firms, institutional clients, large and medium-sized companies and high-net-worth individuals globally. Seqera Labs – a provider of data orchestration and workflow software for life sciences – has raised USD5.5 million in seed funding. The round was co-led by European VCs Talis Capital and Speedinvest, with participation from existing investor BoxOne Ventures.  The funding also includes a grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, founded by Mark Zuckerberg and Dr Priscilla Chan, which supports essential open source software in science. Patria Investments (Patria) (NASDAQ: PAX), a global alternative asset manager, is to combine with Moneda Asset Management (Moneda), an asset manager headquartered in Chile. The merger will create an investment platform in Latin America, with USD25.9 billion in assets under management focused on private equity, infrastructure and credit investments in the region.   The combination will enhance Patria’s product offering by adding the largest credit investment platform in Latin America. Factorial, a Barcelona-based HR software company that streamlines people management, has closed an USD80 million Series B funding round led by Tiger Global Management, with participation from previous investors CRV, Creandum, Point Nine, K Fund, and Columbia Lake Partners bringing the total funding amount to USD100 million.
