Paysafe, a specialised payments platform, has completed its acquisition of PagoEfectivo, a Peruvian-based alternative payments (APM) platform.  For Paysafe, the investment gives it a strategic foothold in Latin America, one of the world’s fastest-growing online markets where merchants and consumers alike are demonstrating an increased appetite for alternative payment methods and open banking solutions. Digital coaching platform CoachHub has raised USD80 million in Series B2 funding, increasing total Series B capital to USD110 million.  Draper Esprit, RTP Global, HV Capital, Signals Venture Capital, Partech, and Speedinvest were all part of this latest round, bringing the total funds raised to USD130 million since 2019.   The money will continue to fund CoachHub’s meteoric expansion which started just three years ago. Sales experience platform Walnut has raised USD15 million in Series A funding led by Eight Roads Ventures, a global VC managing USD8 billion of assets, with portfolio companies such as AppsFlyer, Alibaba, Hibob and Made.com. BankiFi, a fintech business specialising in payment processing and financial administration services for SMEs, has secured a GBP2.2 million investment in a funding round led by Praetura Ventures, with participation from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Headquartered in Manchester, BankiFi was founded to help financial institutions better serve small and medium-sized businesses. Pan-European private equity investor Oakley Capital’s (Oakley) portfolio company Ocean Technologies Group (OTG) has acquired COMPAS, a crew management SAAS provider to the maritime industry.  The acquisition is OTG’s fifth bolt-on acquisition and continues Oakley’s transformation of the business into a diversified software platform serving the multiple needs of the maritime industry. COMPAS is a leading human capital management (HCM) SAAS solution that helps ship owners and professionals to efficiently manage all aspects of crewing activities, such as crew planning, crew change management and other logistics.
