Law Business Research (LBR), a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), has acquired Hopkins Bruce Publishers LLC (Docket Navigator). Headquartered in London with offices in Hong Kong and Washington DC, LBR is a provider of business information, legal analysis tools and networking for global legal markets.
Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Docket Navigator is a provider of patent litigation information across the United States. Its proprietary technology tracks, processes, organises and synthesises every significant event across US district courts, the Court of Federal Claims, the International Trade Commission, and certain Patent Trial and Appeal Board
Bitcoin infrastructure firm Blockstream has raised USD210 million as part of a Series B financing on a valuation of USD3.2 billion. Investors include Baillie Gifford and iFinex.
The new funding comes alongside the acquisition of Spondoolies’ intellectual property, and the core team joining Blockstream to build Blockstream’s ASIC arm. Spondoolies is a bitcoin mining hardware manufacturer founded by top Israeli semiconductor veterans. Since its inception in 2013, the Spondoolies team successfully designed and built five different mining products and was one of the earliest teams in the bitcoin mining industry to deliver energy-efficient and high-performance mining hardware.

PDQ.com (PDQ), a provider of IT asset management software for small and medium-sized businesses, has secured a growth investment from private equity firm TA Associates (TA).
TA, together with PDQ’s founders and executive management team, plan to accelerate PDQ’s growth as the company aims to expand its portfolio of easy-to-use IT asset management and scanning software solutions.
PDQ provides software for system administrators and IT professionals. The company’s primary products are PDQ Deploy, an automated patch management, software update and endpoint communications application; and PDQ Inventory, an endpoint information collection and reporting application for software, hardware and Windows configuration
Arlington Capital Partners (Arlington Capital), a Washington DC-area private equity firm, is to acquire MCR (MCR), a provider of cost analysis and engineering and software development expertise to customers in defence, intelligence and critical civilian governmental agencies in the US as well as customers internationally.
MCR’s senior management team has invested alongside Arlington in the transaction.

CVC Capital Partners (CVC) funds have completed the acquisition of RiverStone Europe from Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited (Fairfax) and OMERS, the pension plan for Ontario’s municipal employees.
The RiverStone Europe Group will now operate under the name RiverStone International.

ZEDRA has appointed Damien Fitzgerald as Head of Funds for Guernsey.
