Spectra A&D Holdings (Spectra), a diversified designer and manufacturer of highly engineered avionics and electronics solutions for leading aerospace and defense platforms, has acquired Galleon Embedded Computing AS (Galleon).  Galleon is the first strategic add-on acquisition since the formation of Spectra. Spectra is a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital, forming the company in February 2021 by simultaneously merging three defense technology businesses. Marketing analytics platform Adverity has closed a USD120 million Series D financing round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with existing investor Sapphire Ventures also participating in the round. Adverity’s mission is to transform marketing performance through intelligent data-driven insights. The Vienna-born business – with offices in London and New York – has seen a 120 per cent client uplift in the last 12 months amid an expanding portfolio of global brands and agencies that include IKEA, Red Bull, Unilever, MediaCom, and Vodafone. Stirling Square Capital Partners (Stirling Square), a pan-European mid-market private equity firm, has invested in Itelyum Group (Itelyum) in partnership with Deutsche Beteiligungs (DBAG), a publicly listed mid-market private equity firm.  Stirling Square’s Fourth Fund and its co-investors will acquire a majority stake and DBAG Fund VII will acquire a minority stake in Itelyum from Stirling Square’s Third Fund.
