GovExec, an information services company for government leaders and contractors, has acquired GovTribe, a market intelligence company for government contractors.
The terms of the acquisition, which was completed with financial support from mid-market private-equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners (GCP), have not been disclosed. Peter Goldstone, chairman of GovExec, served as adviser.
The acquisition continues GovExec’s rapid business expansion to build the leading suite of decision-support services for government leaders and contractors. GovTribe is the largest business development collaboration and market intelligence tool serving the public sector to be added to GovExec’s portfolio.

The round was led by EOS Venture Partners and W R Berkley Corporation, and brings the company’s combined funding to over USD17.5 million.

GovSpend, a provider of government intelligence solutions and a portfolio company of Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP) and Endicott Growth Equity Partners (EGEP), has completed the acquisition of Fedmine, a provider of detailed federal government contracting and spend intelligence solutions headquartered in Rockville, Maryland.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Palamon Capital Partners (Palamon) portfolio company, connected insurance service provider FairConnect, is to acquire G-Evolution from Groupama Assicurazioni Italia.
As part of the transaction, FairConnect will establish a long-term strategic partnership agreement with Groupama, the leading insurance carrier in France, for the provision of advanced connected insurance solutions. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to complete in the second half of 2021.
