Northern Trust is to transfer its distributed ledger technology (DLT) platform for private equity (PE) asset servicing to Broadridge, in whatv he companies says is a significant step towards delivering an industry-wide PE blockchain solution.
Following the agreement, Broadridge will develop the platform leveraging blockchain technology developed by Northern Trust. The technology will provide data and analytics tools connecting the complex PE lifecycle for all market participants. CAIS, a financial technology platform connecting financial advisors with alternative investments, is partnering with Private Client Resources (PCR) to streamline the delivery of analytics-ready data for independent financial advisors and fund managers.

Broadridge Financial Solutions has entered into an agreement with Preqin to offer clients private assets and flows data for alternative products. The Preqin data comprises intelligence on approximately USD10.42 trillion of assets in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, private debt and natural resources.

The algorithms developed by Kaiserwetter provide detailed analysis of operational data of renewable energy facilities for a given point in time and are aimed at accelerating the technical due diligence process for wind farms and the respective machinery prior to M&A transactions.
