Mackprang Holding, which is majority owned by German private equity firm Hannover Finanz, has sold its ownership stake in Schlemmer to 3i Group with Schlemmer’s management team also investing. 3i has agreed to invest EUR181 million in Schlemmer, a global leader in cable management solutions for the automotive industry. Baird served as the exclusive financial advisor to Hannover Finanz and Mackprang Holding on this transaction. Joachim Beickler and Sven Harmsen led the Baird team on this deal, which is still subject to customary regulatory approvals. Handelsbanken’s AB Handel och Industri subsidiary has sold all iof ts shares in Plastal Industri AB, the parent company of the Plastal Group. The purchaser is the Canadian Plasman Group.  With this transaction, Handelsbanken has recovered the total claims that were outstanding when the former Plastal Group went into bankruptcy. The transaction will have only a marginal effect on Handelsbanken’s profits and financial position.  “This is a good conclusion to Handelsbanken’s involvement in Plastal. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to complete within the third quarter of 2016. Aksìa and Quadrivio have sold their stake in Emmeci, a Florence-based specialist in the design, manufacturing and distribution of automatic machinery for packaging premium products for the cosmetic, electronic and fashion accessories industries. Aurelius group, a pan-European, mid-market investor, has sold its stake in Tavex Europe to a Spanish consortium of investors.  The acquiring consortium will continue to support the restructuring measures implemented by Aurelius following its acquisition of Tavex Europe in 2015, as well as the company’s expansion. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.   Tavex Europe is headquartered in Bergara, Spain and develops, produces and distributes premium quality, sustainably developed denim fabric for major fashion brands in Europe.
