Kingfisher Investment Advisors has led a USD30 million Series B funding round in SkySafe, an airspace security and management technology company. New investors Gaingels, and MIT alumni investment fund Castor Ventures also participated along with previous investor Andreessen Horowitz, who led the seed and Series A investments.  To date, SkySafe has raised USD45 million in total financing, and the fresh capital will be used to help further accelerate the company’s growth through strategic hiring, R&D, and expanded production of its airspace security system for commercial adoption.  
Chronograph, a provider of portfolio monitoring technology to institutional private equity and venture capital investors, has formed a strategic partnership with LemonEdge, a next-generation fund, and portfolio accounting solution.  The partnership between the two firms will enable clients to streamline front-to-back-office investment operations through the integration of their technology and APIs. Chronograph’s cloud-based software suite automates portfolio company data collection, valuations, analytics, and reporting for investors. Clients will now be able to integrate this critical investment performance data with the single, end-to-end fund administration and accounting processes they benefit from in LemonEdge’s platform. Helix Geospace, a specialist  in antenna and RF (radio frequency) technology, has raised GBP3 million seed funding in a round led by Bloc Ventures, and supported by the UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund (UKI2S), managed by Midven, part of Future Planet Capital. Several private investors including a group of sophisticated HNWI’s introduced by Tony Best, who’s background is in finance and high-end electronics manufacturing, also participated. In addition to this GBP3 million round Helix has previously raised GBP2.5 million investment from UKI2S and angel investors, and has participated in Wayra UK’s Intelligent Mobility Accelerator programme and Seraphim Capital’s Space
TELEO Capital Management has acquired of FIOS Insight (FIOS), an Enterprise Architecture (EA) software tool that enables companies to simplify their strategy, IT planning and Project Portfolio Management (PPM). The Business will be merged with UMT360, an existing TELEO portfolio company providing Enterprise PPM software. FIOS and UMT360’s combined solution enables organszations to identify, model and align business processes, products and projects. Integrating FIOS’ EA technology strengthens UMT360’s Strategic Portfolio Management product, providing a comprehensive solution designed to drive business agility.
Lucion Group, the leading environmental services company backed by mid-market private equity investor Palatine, has acquired specialist consultancy Aberdeen Radiation Protection Services (ARPS) Ltd, in a strategic deal that strengthens its capabilities in the nuclear sector. The deal, which also boosts Lucion’s presence in Scotland, will see skilled members of the ARPS team join the business. Founded in 2001, ARPS provides comprehensive and cost-effective radiation protection services to a wide range of industrial and non-industrial companies operating globally.
Lower Mid-market private equity firm NorthEdge has supported the primary management buyout of ICP, a global marketing services consultancy. ICP is headquartered in London with offices across Europe, Asia, and North and South America. The business provides digital marketing, digital asset management services, creative production and consultancy services to global brands, such as Mars, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Warner Bros. and CVS Aetna, supporting them to deliver their increasingly complex multi-channel marketing strategies.   NorthEdge is backing Christopher Grakal, CEO, and his 250-plus strong team, to accelerate the firm’s growth. FFL Partners (FFL), a private equity firm focused on growth investments in middle market companies, has completed a significant investment in Optomi Professional Services (OPS), a provider of high-end technology consulting and staff augmentation under the Optomi brand and domestic rural outsourcing services under the Provalus brand.  Financial terms of the private transaction, which is FFL’s fifth HR services investment in five years, have not been disclosed.   FFL has a history of investing in and building high-growth, technology and services firms that have defined, defensible niches and strong internal cultures, including Velocity Global, a market-leading provider of international expansion
Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Grantham Trust’s Neglected Climate Opportunities, have lead a USD10 million series A financing round in Sustaera, a a direct air capture (DAC) carbon dioxide removal company spun-out of Susteon Inc. 
Solactive AG (Solactive) has acquired 100 per cent of the share capital of Global Property Research BV (GPR) from Van Lanschot Kempen NV.  PGR holds a longstanding track record in the indexing business and is a registered Benchmark Administrator under the European Benchmarks Regulation. Since its inception, in 1995, the company ranks amongst the top global index providers in property and infrastructure research and provides its services to leading financial institutions.
Godspeed Capital Management (Godspeed Capital), a lower middle-market Defence & Government services, solutions, and technology focused private equity firm, has made a strategic investment in Varen Technologies, a provider of cybersecurity, software, and intelligence solutions for the Defence and Intelligence Communities.  Financial terms of the transaction, which will see Varen Technologies will remain headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, and continue to be led by President & CEO Marty Leshin and the existing management team, have not been disclosed. Godspeed Capital plans to meaningfully invest in Varen Technologies by increasing investments in technology, talent acquisition, business development, corporate infrastructure, and strategic acquisitions
