PSG, a growth equity firm focused on partnering with middle-market software and technology-enabled services companies, in combination with ShieldCo, a PSG V portfolio company, has acquired Traction Guest, a provider of cloud-based visitor management and workforce security software.
This marks ShieldCo’s second investment. In September 2021, the company invested in Sign In App, a provider of workplace risk management software solutions. Jeff Gordon, a Senior Advisor at PSG, will lead the new operating company, ShieldCo. Keith Metcalfe will continue to lead and focus on growing the Traction Guest business as CEO and will also join the ShieldCo senior leadership team,
BV Investment Partners (BV), a middle-market private equity firm focused on the tech-enabled business services, software and IT services sectors, has made significant strategic investment in intent data software and solutions provider Intentsify to help accelerate growth and product innovation.
Intentsify, co-founded by Marc Laplante, Mike Kelly, Ed Laplante and Eric Belcher in 2018, has consistently achieved strong growth fueled by B2B businesses seeking data-driven insights to efficiently identify and engage targeted accounts showing buying intent. Since inception, the company has gained more than 150 customers, quadrupled annual revenue in both 2019 and 2020, and will close 2021 with 3x annual revenue growth.
JTC has acquired Essential Fund Services (EFS), New York-headquartered provider of a broad range of services in the alternative assets space, including accounting, reporting and administrative services to investment partnerships and their investment managers.
The acquisition will be settled via cash and JTC equity.
Gerard Federici will continue to lead the business and all current EFS employees will join JTC, becoming part of the Group’s Institutional Client Services (ICS) Division. The transaction is not subject to any regulatory approvals and completes with immediate effect.
Target Global has led a GBP40 million Series B funding round in Lepaya, a provider of skills training that combines online and offline learning. The investment is one of the largest financing rounds to date for an education technology company in Europe.

Private equity firm Dubin Clark’s holding company Super Home Services (SHS), has acquired SWAT Mosquito Systems (SWAT). Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Miramar, Florida, SWAT is a full-service provider of permanent automated mosquito misting systems for residential homes in South Florida.
In July 2021, Dubin Clark formed SHS to partner with leading companies to provide a concierge in-home service solution throughout the Southeastern United States. SHS previously acquired Evergreen Lawn & Pest Control, Inc in July 2021 and an HVAC company in September 2021.

RiverNorth Capital Management has acquired a minority stake in TrueMark Investments, an Illinois-based asset manager and Advisor to the TrueShares actively managed ETFs.
The two firms will work jointly to develop a suite of ETFs under the RiverNorth brand, complementing its existing fund line-up which currently includes mutual funds, closed-end funds, private funds, SMAs, and soon to be ETFs. TrueMark’s capabilities will serve as an expansion of RiverNorth’s existing strengths in delivering opportunistic investment strategies to investors through a variety of investment vehicles.
