Independent investment bank Greenhill has appointed Kenneth A. Goldman as a senior adviser to the firm.
Independent investment bank Greenhill has appointed Kenneth A. Goldman as a senior adviser to the firm.
Goldman (pictured) will focus on Greenhill’s strategic advisory activities with technology companies in Silicon Valley.
He has 35 years of experience in the technology industry and has led more than 100 strategic transactions over the course of his career.
He currently serves as the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Fortinet.
From August 2000 to March 2006, he served as senior vice president, finance and administration, and chief financial officer of Siebel Systems, which was acquired by Oracle in January 2006.
Prior to that he served as chief financial officer of a number of technology companies, including Excite@Home, Sybase, Cypress Semiconductor and VLSI Technology.
Goldman is on the board of directors of BigBand Networks, Infinera, Starent Networks and several private companies.
He is currently on the board of trustees of Cornell University and last year was a member of the Treasury Department’s Advisory Committee on the Auditing Profession.
