Bacchus Capital Management, a San Francisco-based investment firm specialising in mezzanine and private equity wine industry investments, has appointed Quinton Jay as managing director.
Bacchus Capital Management, a San Francisco-based investment firm specialising in mezzanine and private equity wine industry investments, has appointed Quinton Jay as managing director.
Jay will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential transactions, overseeing the performance of Bacchus portfolio wineries and managing the research, investment and marketing teams.
He has 15 years of experience running both boutique and established, well-known wineries. Most recently, Jay was vice president and general manager at Artesa Winery and Vineyards.
Previously, he was managing director of Bacchus Consulting Group, an independent winery consulting firm he founded in 2001. Prior to this, Jay was general manager of Bonny Doon Vineyard.
