C.M. Capital appoints Bruce W. Madding as president

C.M. Capital has appointed finance and investment veteran Bruce W. Madding as president and chief investment officer.

Madding has had a long career in finance, accounting, investment and asset management, including 22 years with the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation in Palo Alto, California, most recently as chief financial and investment officer.

"His asset management skills and financial acumen are well-known throughout the investment community and will be invaluable to our clients, while his leadership and management expertise will help our organisation to grow and thrive amidst the many challenges posed by today’s dynamic markets."

Madding has been a member and chair of the American Red Cross Investment Committee, an investment committee member of the University of California-Berkeley Foundation, past chair of the Foundation Financial Officer’s Group (an affiliation of the largest national foundation investment officers), and is a member of the investment committee for the M Funds.

C.M. Capital is an asset management and investment advisory firm established in Palo Alto in 1969. Additionally, it operates a private charitable foundation, the C.M. Capital Foundation. C.M. Capital is part of the Cha Group, which is based in Hong Kong and comprises a variety of businesses including real estate development, financial services and textiles.
