Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), via Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 4 (MEIF4), and Wren House Infrastructure are to sell part of Viesgo to Repsol in a deal valued at EUR750 million.
Repsol will acquire the majority of Viesgo’s unregulated assets including Viesgo Supply, which has electricity and gas contracts with 750,000 households and businesses, as well as 700MW of conventional generation hydro power (both pumping storage and run-of-river); and two Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plants with a total installed capacity of 1650MW.

MPC Capital’s investment platform for renewable energies in the CARICOM region, MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Fund, and Trinidad and Tobago conglomerate ANSA McAL, are to acquire an operational 21 MW windpark Tilawind, located in Tilarán in the Guanacaste province, Costa Rica.
With a wind turbine capacity factor of 45 per cent, Tilarán represents an excellent location for the wind farm, which has been operational since 2015 and has the potential to expand its capacity to 40 MW in the future. Tilawind and the expansion were developed and constructed by the local project developer Gruman Resources, who currently operates the wind farm.
Pathway Capital Management, has closed Pathway Private Equity Fund CV-B (PPEF CV-B), a USD602 million private equity co-investment fund formed in partnership with a US-based institutional investor.

Omnes Capital and Ilmatar Windpower have launched a joint wind platform Ilmatar Energy which will target further acquisitions of Finnish and other Nordic development stage and construction ready assets.

PraxisIFM has acquired Nerine, a provider of private client and corporate administration services to an international client base.
This is Channel Islands-based PraxisIFM’s fourth acquisition in a two year period during which it has grown from employing 300 staff in the summer of 2017 to 520.
Nerine Trust was established in 1997 and the majority of its 92 staff are employed in Guernsey.
