KX Power (KXP), a London-based battery storage developer announces has formed a joint venture with BlackRock Real Assets to develop, build and operate battery storage projects across the UK. The investment is being made by the BlackRock Global Renewable Power III (GRP III) fund and will support the build out of up to 2GWh (Gigawatt hours) of battery storage assets across the UK. This investment is GRP III’s first into the UK’s battery storage market and brings together BlackRock’s infrastructure expertise and KXP’s extensive experience developing BESS assets to create a portfolio of advanced energy storage systems supporting the UK’s
Sauce Labs, a provider of continuous test and remediation solutions that enable development teams to deliver high quality software at speed, has secured an additional strategic investment from TPG. The deal provides Sauce Labs with additional resources and expertise to expand capabilities, further market leadership, and drive continued growth. TPG first invested in Sauce Labs in 2019, increasing its investment in 2021. Sauce Labs enables enterprises to deliver high quality software at speed, providing a more seamless and secure experience for customers. 
Northlane Capital Partners (NCP) has made an investment in SAI MedPartners (SAI), a consultancy providing strategic insights and analytics to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. NCP invested in partnership with the SAI management team, led by Founder and CEO Erik Nordhoy. Headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania, SAI provides best-in-class competitive intelligence and strategy support services to assist its clients across the product development lifecycle. 
Investment manager Downing has agreed a £7.6 million funding facility to support Country Court, a UK operator and developer of elderly residential care. The loan to develop a 69-bed modern purpose-built care home, is the start of a new relationship for Downing’s Development Capital team with Country Court – which owns and operates 35 homes in England. 
Ariceum Therapeutics (Ariceum), a private biotech company developing a radiopharmaceutical product for the diagnosis and systemic targeted radiation therapy of certain hard-to-treat cancers, has completed an oversubscribed €25 million Series A financing round. Ariceum was co-founded by EQT Life Sciences (formerly LSP) and HealthCap who also co-led the financing that was joined by Pureos Bioventures. Ipsen transferred assets, and all corresponding rights into the Company in late 2021. The proceeds from the financing will enable Ariceum to further develop its lead asset and proprietary peptide derivative, satoreotide, a radiopharmaceutical drug and an antagonist of the somatostatin type 2 (SST2) receptor
The Access Group, a provider of business management software to mid-market organisations in the UK, Ireland and Asia Pacific, has secured further investment from its shareholders, Hg and TA Associates, with an associated enterprise value of £9.2 billion, believed to make it one of the largest UK headquartered software providers. Access has grown significantly since its incorporation in 1991, delivering uninterrupted profitable growth in the last 15 years. Since 2020, Access has more than doubled in size driven by double-digit organic growth, combined with strategic M&A in the UK, Ireland and Asia Pacific. Access has grown its customer base to
International law firm Clifford Chance has advised global private equity firm Cinven and co-investor Novo Holdings on the disposal of Envirotainer to EQT and Mubadala. Headquartered in Sweden, Envirotainer is a global provider of temperature-controlled air cargo containers for the global pharmaceutical supply chain. The Enterprise Value of the transaction is approximately €2.8 billion. Novo Holdings is a co investor with Cinven, and Law firm Vinge advised on the Swedish aspects of the deal. Clifford Chance originally advised Cinven, alongside Vinge, on its acquisition of Envirotainer in 2018, and has supported Cinven throughout the lifecycle of its investment.
Antelope, an omni-channel, pet wellness platform backed by private equity firm Alpine Investors, has acquired Diggin’ Your Dog and Super Snouts, a supplier of high quality pet CBD supplements, health products and treats. With this partnership, Diggin’ Your Dog and Super Snouts will continue to operate under its brand name within Antelope, and Christy Love will continue as its CEO.   Antelope was launched in August 2021 by Alpine and Founder and CEO, Wendy Wen, with the mission to build a next-generation conglomerate of high-quality natural pet brands.
Middle market private equity firm One Equity Partners (OEP) is to acquire ACI’s corporate online banking solutions, an API-driven solution for the banking industry, from ACI Worldwide. Upon completing the transaction, the entity will operate independently under the new name, Dragonfly Financial Technologies.
Mercer Global Advisors, a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) backed by Oak Hill Capital and Genstar Capital, has acquired Fure Financial Corporation (Fure Financial). Fure Financial is a wealth management firm headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota, serving approximately 300 clients with assets under management (AUM) of approximately $260 million.
