IAC’s healthcare jobs marketplace Vivian Health has secured $60 million in a primary and secondary equity investment led by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, according to a report by Seeking Alpha. IAC, which acquired Vivian in 2019, and Collaborative Fund also participated in the round. Vivian will use the new funding to support its growth strategy and future merger plans.
Dallas-based, healthcare industry-focused private equity firm Latticework Capital Management’s (LCM) rural health and urgent care platform, Xpress Wellness (Xpress), has acquired Integrity Urgent Care (Integrity) to expand its geographic footprint and provide additional resources to patients and families in rural communities. Founded in 2017 by Dr Eddy Dark, Integrity currently operates 10 urgent care clinics in rural Central Texas. The addition of Integrity to Xpress’ platform expands its geographic presence to 43 clinics across three states and adds significant clinical and operational leadership to assist with Xpress’ continued growth. LCM partnered with Xpress in July of 2018.
Kartesia, a European specialist provider of capital solutions for small and mid-sized companies, has provided acquisition financing to allow Christine De Dijcker and Marc Lanckriet to further cement the family control of the ECS, by acquiring the shares held by Kelly De Dijcker and Pieter Balcaen. A mid-cap green fuel Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ fund, CI Advanced Bioenergy Fund I, has closed at $375 million, with investments from Nordic pension funds, PensionDanmark, Industriens Pension, AP2 and AP4, according to a report from IPE Real Assets. The fund is looking to hit a €1 billion target and so far has received €100 million from PensionDanmark, €60 million from Industriens Pension, with commitments from CIP itself and Vestas, a Danish wind turbine manufacturer. AP2 and AP4 declined to disclose their respective commitments to the fund.
Yamaha Motor Ventures, the strategic business development and investment arm of Yamaha Motor Co, has led a $7.5 million Series A funding round for Verge, developers of the world’s first AI-powered interactive software that enables farmers to plan, simulate, and validate the movement of equipment in the field and execute field operations efficiently. Pay2Day Solutions (Authvia) has closed a $7 million Series A financing led by Red Door Capital Partners (Red Door), an independent private equity firm.
Omaha National Group, a tech-enabled provider of workers’ compensation insurance, has secured a $20 million unsecured senior debt financing facilitated by Cohen & Co, a financial services company specialising in fixed income markets. The notes carry a fixed rate of 6.8% with a 10-year term.   This latest funding follows Omaha National’s $45 million Series B round in 2021, which was led by Accomplice and included investors High Sage Ventures and Tull Investments. Agman, a Chicago-based investment firm, remains the principal and founding investor.
ModusBox, an infrastructure and integration technology company for financial services, has closed a $7.5 million Series A funding round led by Patamar Capital, a social impact fintech venture fund. Choice Bank co-led the round while BankTech Ventures and American Capital Partners also participated. ModusBox will use the new funds to accelerate the development of its PortX products, drive key partnerships with advanced fintech solutions, and continue its contributions to the Mojaloop real-time payments ecosystem. The funds will also scale the company’s recruiting, marketing, customer success, and engineering groups as ModusBox responds to rapidly growing demand.
