Astorg and is to acquire CordenPharma (CordenPharma), a global pharmaceutical CDMO (Contract Development & Manufacturing Organisation) with capabilities in active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, and drug products, from International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG).
As part of the transaction, the founders will take the opportunity to reinvest as partners with Astorg.
Established in 2006, CordenPharma today employs more than 2,600 people in 11 manufacturing facilities and one R&D laboratory located across Europe and the US.

Align Capital Partners (ACP) has sold Protegis Fire & Safety (Protegis) to Summit Fire & Security (SFS), a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc, which is owned by BlackRock Long Term Private Capital.
Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Protegis provides installation, inspection, service and repair for fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems, security systems, fire pumps, extinguishers and fire suppression systems.

Advent International (Advent) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a significant stake in Imperial Dade, a distributor in North America of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies, from Bain Capital Private Equity (Bain Capital).
Bain Capital, which first invested in Imperial Dade in 2019, and Advent will have joint Board governance.
Imperial Dade will continue under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, Chairman and CEO respectively, who remain significant investors in the business alongside the current management team. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

IAC’s healthcare jobs marketplace Vivian Health has secured $60 million in a primary and secondary equity investment led by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, according to a report by Seeking Alpha.
IAC, which acquired Vivian in 2019, and Collaborative Fund also participated in the round.
Vivian will use the new funding to support its growth strategy and future merger plans.
Dallas-based, healthcare industry-focused private equity firm Latticework Capital Management’s (LCM) rural health and urgent care platform, Xpress Wellness (Xpress), has acquired Integrity Urgent Care (Integrity) to expand its geographic footprint and provide additional resources to patients and families in rural communities.
Founded in 2017 by Dr Eddy Dark, Integrity currently operates 10 urgent care clinics in rural Central Texas. The addition of Integrity to Xpress’ platform expands its geographic presence to 43 clinics across three states and adds significant clinical and operational leadership to assist with Xpress’ continued growth.
LCM partnered with Xpress in July of 2018.
Kartesia, a European specialist provider of capital solutions for small and mid-sized companies, has provided acquisition financing to allow Christine De Dijcker and Marc Lanckriet to further cement the family control of the ECS, by acquiring the shares held by Kelly De Dijcker and Pieter Balcaen.

A mid-cap green fuel Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ fund, CI Advanced Bioenergy Fund I, has closed at $375 million, with investments from Nordic pension funds, PensionDanmark, Industriens Pension, AP2 and AP4, according to a report from IPE Real Assets.
The fund is looking to hit a €1 billion target and so far has received €100 million from PensionDanmark, €60 million from Industriens Pension, with commitments from CIP itself and Vestas, a Danish wind turbine manufacturer.
AP2 and AP4 declined to disclose their respective commitments to the fund.
Yamaha Motor Ventures, the strategic business development and investment arm of Yamaha Motor Co, has led a $7.5 million Series A funding round for Verge, developers of the world’s first AI-powered interactive software that enables farmers to plan, simulate, and validate the movement of equipment in the field and execute field operations efficiently.
