The Pig Hotels, an affiliate of the specialist travel and leisure private equity firm KSL Capital Partners (KSL) has acquired the parent company of The Pig Hotels in partnership with its co-founder Robin Hutson. Hutson will continue as Chairman of the company and will retain a stake in the business. Tom Ross, previously Group Operations Director, has taken on the role of Managing Director. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Sustainable aerosol spray tech company the Salford Valve Company (Salvalco) is raising new capital through private equity firm Growthdeck. Founded in 2013, Salvalco was formed as a commercial development arm from the University of Salford that created a new eco-friendly aerosol technology, the Eco-Valve. The valve, protected by eight global patents, uses environmentally-friendly nitrogen as its propellant rather than the butane most commonly used at present. Chicago-based private equity firm Frontenac has recapitalised Dealer Services Network (DSN), a technology-enabled platform that automates and streamlines the title, registration and compliance processes for mobility companies and consumers alike.

Mercer Global Advisors, Inc (Mercer Advisors), a national Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), has acquired Convergent Wealth Management, LLC, (Convergent), a wealth management firm headquartered in Chesterfield, Missouri. Convergent has approximately USD130 million assets under management (AUM). Convergent was founded by John P Stobbs CPA/PFS, Managing Member, and Jeannie Seabaugh Investment Advisor, Analyst and Managing Member. The entire Convergent team will be joining Mercer.
The startup Pick a Pier, pioneer in the marine tech space, have secured investment from international tech guru, Lane Bess, the Principal and Founder of Bess Ventures and Advisory.  Prior, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Zscaler Inc, an innovator and leader in Cloud-based Internet security services. He has spent over 30 years as an operational executive and has successfully launched startups and grown medium-sized businesses to a large scale. Bess was also one of the six passengers who flew outer space on Jeff Bezos’s space-exploration business – “Blue Origin.” 
Europe’s biggest freelancer marketplace Malt has acquired Comatch, the curated marketplace for independent management consultants and industry experts. The acquisition extends Malt’s community of high-skilled freelancers to business consultants and takes Malt closer to reaching EUR1 billion business volume by 2024.  With a freelancing market valued at EUR355 billion, Malt projects to become the undisputed European leader and the preferred partner for companies seeking external resources. Brand Velocity Group (BVG), an innovative private equity firm, has appointed Eric Grib has joined the firm as a Principal. Grib brings to BVG over 15 years of experience in private equity, corporate M&A, and investment banking across sectors such as consumer, media, technology, sports, and entertainment.  Prior to joining BVG, Grib was a Principal at Acamar Partners, an investment group focused on consumer and retail verticals such as health and wellness, fitness, food and beverage, luxury goods, fashion and apparel, beauty and personal care, specialty retail, and restaurants.  While at Acamar, Grib helped lead the firm’s investment in CarLotz,
Highvern has completed the acquisition of Noble Trust Company in Guernsey, further adding to its multi-jurisdictional private capital and corporate services offering. The Guernsey office, which will rebrand to Highvern with immediate effect, will work closely with the group’s other teams in Jersey, Dublin and London in in delivering the company’s high standard of service to clients across its private wealth, corporate and fund administration propositions.    The acquisition brings Highvern’s total employees to just under 100 and allows the firm to offer further flexibility and choice to its clients. Family office investor Kidd & Company and private investment firm Firmament have exited their investment in Logistyx Technologies, a global multi-carrier shipping software company, in a sale to E2open Parent Holdings, Inc (ETWO) for USD185 million. E2open is a leading network-based provider of a cloud-based, mission-critical, end-to-end supply chain management platform. Logistyx Technologies’ complementary parcel management technology bolsters global fulfilment capabilities of E2open, providing comprehensive global multi-carrier parcel management capabilities in one unified end-to-end, connected omni-channel supply chain platform.
