TransFICC, a specialist provider of low-latency connectivity and workflow services for Fixed Income and Derivatives Markets, has closed a USD17 million Series A extension led by AlbionVC.
All existing institutional shareholders also took part in this investment round, which follows the original Series A of USD7.8 million, announced in April 2020.
TransFICC’s investors are AlbionVC, Citi, HSBC, Illuminate Financial, ING Ventures, and Main Incubator (the Early Stage CVC unit of Commerzbank Group).
The new investment will primarily be used to expand TransFICC’s Engineering teams, to support additional venue connectivity and automated workflows in US Rates and Credit markets, including US
KKR, backed by the International Finance Corporation IFC) and Pavilion Capital, has led a USD77.5 million Series C round in Gtowsari, a Philippines-based B2B e-commerce platform.
This latest round, which saw KKR invest USD45 million, brings Growsari’s total funding to USD110 million. The company’s existing investors include Robinson Retail Holdings, JG Digital Equity Ventures, and Wavemaker Partners.
The new funding will be used to finance the expansion of Growsari’s footprint in the Philippines.
Cloaked, a consumer-first privacy company that enables individuals to safely share personal data with people or companies based on their level of comfort, has secured USD25 million in Series A funding round.
The round was co-led by Lux Capital and Human Capital.
Founded by two brothers, Arjun and Abhijay Bhatnagar, Cloaked is changing the way people use their data and setting rules for how that information can be used – without changing every day behaviour.
FirstPort, a UK residential property services company, is being acquired by Emeria, a European specialist in residential real estate services, from the company’s previous majority shareholder, the mid-market private equity investor Equistone Partners Europe Limited (Equistone).
FirstPort will operate as a subsidiary of Emeria, with its existing management team remaining in place and reinvesting in the group. The financial terms of the deal are undisclosed and completion of the transaction remains subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority.
FirstPort works with developers, investors, freeholders and over 1,300 Resident Management Companies (RMCs) to provide services to leaseholders.
Emeria is
Integra Therapeutics, a biotechnology company that creates next- generation gene writing tools, has closed an additional EUR1.5-million investment from venture capital firm Columbus Venture Partners. This investment comes on top of the EUR4.5 million Integra Therapeutics raised last December from AdBio Partners, Invivo Capital and Takeda Ventures and completes its seed round in line with the company’s set goals.
The new funds will go to support development of the FiCAT platform prototype and preclinical validation with in vivo and ex vivo models.

Arowana Impact Capital (AIC), the impact investing arm of global B Corp investment group, Arowana, has completed a cornerstone investment in Green Antz, producer of eco-friendly construction materials operating in Southeast Asia.
Green Antz converts plastic waste from commercial establishments and communities into value-added construction materials, such as bricks and pavers. Green Antz does this through its network of EcoHubs across the Philippines, which serve as collection sites, production facilities, and recycling education centres.

The round saw existing investors including SucSEED Indovation Fund, Padup Ventures and Vinners, reinforce their support with additional capital along with the participation of new investors Lead Angels and Nextgen Technology Fund I (a fund created by STPI and managed by Pontaq).
