Relative Insight, a fast-growing text analytics platform, plans to expand its operations in the US and strengthen new product development following a GBP5 million growth capital investment by YFM Equity Partners (YFM) through its managed British Smaller Companies VCTs.
With offices in London, New York and Lancaster, Relative Insight has a growing international client list including leading global companies such as Sky, Nespresso, Starbucks, General Mills, MetLife and Sony.
The investment from YFM will enable Relative Insight to further grow its customer base as well as continuing to develop the platform to provide greater customer insights and data integrations
Lantum – a UK-based healthcare workforce management platform – has raised USD15 million in a funding round led by Finch Capital.
Piton Capital, Samos, and US-based Cedars-Sinai Hospital also participated. Lantum is considering increasing the round size, due to significant oversubscription.

Sourceful, an all-in-one platform for sustainable sourcing, has secured a USD20 million Series A funding round led by Index Ventures, backers of Deliveroo, Dropbox and Just Eat.

BGF has successfully exited its investment in leading care provider, CSN Care Group (CSN) to Clece Care Services, a national care provider currently operating successfully in more than 70 locations across the UK.
BGF invested GBP4 million in the Edinburgh-headquartered CSN in December 2020. It operates a national network of branches across the UK and its care brands include Carewatch, MyLife and New Directions.

New York- and London-based HealthTech venture firm Eckuity has invested in Mobius Biomedical, a development-stage company designing disruptive new technology and processes for lower cost, next-generation biologics manufacturing.
Mobius Biomedical’s disruptive technology will significantly reduce facility footprint, setup time, and cost, while at the same time providing the flexibility to manufacture a diverse set of biological drug products, as its flexible equipment modules are designed to enable continuous manufacturing of protein-therapeutics, RNA-therapeutics, and gene therapies. Mobius’ technologies will provide reductions in manufacturing cost and time to market, while simultaneously improving product yield and purity.
