Palex, a distributor of high value-added MedTech equipment and solutions in Iberia, has announced today the bolt-on acquisition of Gada, a leading player in the Italian market.
Since 2016, Palex has completed more than 12 bolt-on acquisitions. This is the second add-on since Fremman Capital acquired a majority stake in the company in December 2021.
Gada is a leading distributor of medical devices for cardiovascular, blood management, and intensive care, and an experienced provider of integrated healthcare services to hospitals.
UK digital bank Chetwood Financial (Chetwood) has extended its Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) capabilities with the acquisition of core banking provider Yobota.
Founded alongside the bank in 2016 and developed as a separate entity, Yobota is a London-based technology company that has built a fast, flexible, cloud-native core banking platform. The platform allows companies to create and run innovative financial products, and manage them independently.

Handle.com, a software platform for construction payment compliance, has closed a USD10 million Series A funding round led by Energize Ventures and Ironspring Ventures.
Handle will leverage this funding to expand its support, engineering, and sales teams across the country.
